In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Half and Half.”

While on vacation the last two weeks, we stopped by Ohiopyle State Park in Pennsylvania. We have been to Ohiopyle on several different ocassions, and never has it been more beautiful than when we saw it on this visit.

When I first decided on taking this picture, I wanted to concentrate on the contrast between the rushing, chilly, stormy, white water and the beautiful, vibrant, warmth of the daisies in bloom in the foreground. I think it fits this week’s theme, “Half and Half”, perfectly.
