This “Stonehenge” is a half scale model at the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, MO., a landmark for this small mid-western town.

Our Stonehenge in, Rolla, MO, sits among modern buildings. Thousands of automobiles drive past it each and every day.

Here you can see two technologies meeting in modern times. Stonehenge used the position of the sun to help early man mark time. The university is using a modern technology to create energy with the windmill you see in the background.
